Materials Resource Planner - Victoria

We are on the hunt for an Inventory and Resources fortune teller to cover a 1 year maternity leave contract.  This person will ensure we’ve got what we need, when we need it, to keep the beer flowing.  You’re as familiar with a sales forecast as you are a weather forecast, and have the almost magical ability to use that information to source just the right amount of raw materials for the job.  To apply, please email summarizing your minimum 2 years’ experience in this field.  Please put “Resource Planner” in the subject field and submit your resume in .pdf format.  Of course, our ideal candidate can already foresee that we’ve chosen them.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product demand from sales orders, sales forecasts as well as LTO’s
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate quantity of raw materials
  • Organize raw materials storage to streamline inventory
  • Research and procure raw materials and ingredients for products
  • Assisting with raw materials inventory counts when needed

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12, post-secondary education preferred
  • At least 2 years of training and/or related experience in materials and/or purchasing
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics
  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP systems an asset
Payroll & Benefits Coordinator, Victoria

We are on the search for a Payroll Coordinator to join our busy Victoria office.  This person will be responsible for the processing of semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration for all employees.  The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience and is proficient in payroll software programs such as Payworks.

This is a permanent part-time role of up to 20 hours per week.  Flexibility to work on/off site is available.

Key Tasks:

  • Process all aspects of company payroll
  • Manage new employee onboarding including forms, system setup, information and employee handbook
  • Process ROEs and T4s in accordance with regulation
  • Create, build and share time tracking and overtime reports
  • Manage payroll journal entry, including vacation and Worksafe accruals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial (BC & AB) regulations, rules, standards, and guidelines as it applies to payroll and benefits administration


  • Process all aspects of benefits and group RRSP plan administration including enrollments, plan maintenance, and calculation of deductions
  • Reconcile monthly statement
  • Participate in annual plan review and provide recommendations as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for the company with the benefits provider


  • Provide advice/expertise to managers in regards to payroll questions/issues as required
  • Be discreet and confidential in all company and employee payroll matters
  • Report on employee absence and vacation time


  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
  • PCP or CPM certification is preferred
  • Payworks experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Production Position, Victoria

WE’RE HIRING! We’re on the lookout for a FULL-TIME person to help in the packaging of finely crafted beer here in VICTORIA. This person has a heart of gold but boots of steel, is hard-working and fun to be around. They are also legally able to drive a car and may or may not have some forklift experience. Our night-vision goggles are activated, and we’re searching the Victoria area for a full-time craft beer lover and night shift production person. This person is mechanically adept, understanding that nuts and bolts are more than just a snack, and they can handle a full keg of beer as if it were half a pint. Forklift experience is an asset but not required, though a sincere passion for craft beer and a positive attitude is a must.
