Production & Inventory Analyst

We are on the search for a highly motivated Production & Inventory Analyst to join our busy Victoria office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position works closely with various areas of manufacturing and supply chain to assist in planning and scheduling, coordinate system entries and accurate record keeping. As an experienced professional, you are an analytical thinker, a self-starter, and a clear and concise communicator.

Key Responsibilities
-Entry of production orders into the ERP system
-Review of daily brewing/filtration/production records
-Process all finished goods production entries in the system to ensure accuracy of inventories
-Verify material receipts & investigate issues as they pertain to production and warehouse transfers
-Follow through to ensure all paperwork is received, for timely and accurate entry and record keeping
-Maintain effective internal controls related to production and inventory records
-Assist with production scheduling and translation into the ERP system
-Coordination of cycle inventory counts, with timely entry into the system
-Proactively troubleshoot discrepancies through investigation
-Analyze and track production variances and recommend improvements
-Track and report Key Performance Indicators, as related to production and inventory movement
-Maintain product profiles in Master Data and Bill of Materials, as required
-Assist in the improvement of forms and processes

Ideal Experience:
-Post-Secondary Education – BBA/BCOM preferred or working towards completion
-1-3 years’ experience in an analytical role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment
-Experience with ERP systems is an asset, SAP experience preferred
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong analytical skills
-Tech Savvy with proficiency in Excel and Word, at an advanced level
-Ability to prioritize tasks and have a strong attention to detail

Payroll & Benefits Coordinator, Victoria

We are on the search for a Payroll Coordinator to join our busy Victoria office.  This person will be responsible for the processing of semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration for all employees.  The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll experience and is proficient in payroll software programs such as Payworks.

This is a permanent part-time role of up to 20 hours per week.  Flexibility to work on/off site is available.

Key Tasks:

  • Process all aspects of company payroll
  • Manage new employee onboarding including forms, system setup, information and employee handbook
  • Process ROEs and T4s in accordance with regulation
  • Create, build and share time tracking and overtime reports
  • Manage payroll journal entry, including vacation and Worksafe accruals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial (BC & AB) regulations, rules, standards, and guidelines as it applies to payroll and benefits administration

  • Process all aspects of benefits and group RRSP plan administration including enrollments, plan maintenance, and calculation of deductions
  • Reconcile monthly statement
  • Participate in annual plan review and provide recommendations as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for the company with the benefits provider

People:

  • Provide advice/expertise to managers in regards to payroll questions/issues as required
  • Be discreet and confidential in all company and employee payroll matters
  • Report on employee absence and vacation time

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
  • PCP or CPM certification is preferred
  • Payworks experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Production Position, Victoria

This person has a heart of gold but boots of steel, is hard-working and fun to be around. They are also legally able to drive a car and may or may not have some forklift experience. Night Shift Production, Victoria

Our night-vision goggles are activated, and we’re searching the Victoria area for a full-time craft beer lover and night shift production person. This person is mechanically adept, understanding that nuts and bolts are more than just a snack, and they can handle a full keg of beer as if it were half a pint. Forklift experience is an asset but not required, though a sincere passion for craft beer and a positive attitude is a must.
