PACKAGING OPERATOR: Full-Time Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. is on the hunt for someone who is interested in craft beer as a career. If you have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to grow, we want to hear from you!
This is a team environment role with aspects of individual expectations. As part of this team of packaging operators, your day-to-day will be set at a high pace with attention to detail, safety, and efficiency at the top of your list.
You will be trained in all aspects of the packaging process. Forklift experience is an asset, but not required. Aptitude for understanding and using machinery and tools is an asset. A clear understanding of English is required for safety and proper training. Packaging is the path to all departments in the brewery, We love to hire from within.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Support the packaging team in all aspects
Ensure the highest level of quality is reached for every package assembled
Maintain a high level of cleanliness for the company as a whole
Perform all requested duties with an appropriate pace and a positive outlook
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (preferred, not required)
Valid BC Driver’s License (preferred, not required)
Forklift Operator Certificate (preferred, not required)

We offer:
Competitive wages are $21.00 per hr
