Bartender and Beer Shop Clerk
Phillips Brewing & Malting Co is looking to add to our dynamic Beer Shop & Tasting Room team! Are you someone who is passionate about all things beer, cocktails, & hospitality? Do you thrive in a team environment where quirkiness & creativity are not only embraced, but encouraged? Then we want to hear from you!
You will be the friendly face of the brewery, welcoming regulars and first-time beer enthusiasts to our space. Between fast paced bar service, growler filling and keg rentals, there’s always a lot to learn & to do. We operate with a team mentality and share our work roles including bussing, stocking, & maintenance duties. You’ll build custom beer flights on the fly, mix a variety of cocktails with our house made spirits and engage with a fun and diverse clientele.
What we’re looking for
- Available to work weekdays + weekends
- Past bartending experience is an asset but not required
- Passion for the craft beverage industry
- Engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly and outgoing manner
- Thrive in a team environment
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment and adapt on the fly
- Self-motivated and able to take direction
- Ability to lift/move heavy items up to 50 lbs
-Interest in events & culture (music, drag shows, burlesque, other varying forms of art)
-British Columbia Serving It Right Certificate
Details:
Hiring full time roles. $18.85/hr to start + share in tip pool. RRSP matching program and group health and dental benefits offered after probationary period.

Full Time Packaging Operator
Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. is on the hunt for someone who is interested in craft beer as a career. If you have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire to grow, we want to hear from you!
Operators are essential cogs in a team with aspects of individual expectations. As part of this team of packaging operators, your day to day will be set at a high pace with attention to detail, safety, and efficiency all at the top of your list.
You will be trained in all aspects of the packaging process. Forklift experience is an asset, but not required. Aptitude for understanding and using machinery and tools is an asset.
