February 1st, 2019 – The votes are in and we’re thrilled to announce that Ocean WIse (BC) and The Oldman Watershed Council (AB) are this year’s Benefit Brew Winners!

We will be brewing up a unique beer for each of these winners chosen by the public. They will each receive their own custom label with full proceeds (~$10,000 each!) from the sale of these limited run brews. The brews are slated to hit the shelves in this Spring, but in the meantime here’s a little snapshot of the incredible work these groups do:

Ocean Wise is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to engaging and inspiring the global community to join forces toward protecting the health of our oceans. Specifically, they work to engage, inform and inspire people to experience curiosity, wonder, and a desire for an ever-deeper understanding about oceans, as well as a way to conserve them.

The Oldman Watershed Council is an essential environmental non-profit in Southern Alberta. They are a dedicated team whose primary focus is to protect the health of the water and environment for all those who live, work and play in the Oldman Watershed through boots-on-the-ground restoration, education and research.

Our brewers are going to be working with the winners on some recipe ideas as we create a unique beer for them. Before then, we’d like to thank everyone who nominated, voted and participated in the project this year. We’d also like to thank all the amazing finalists that took part in this public voting phase. As a thank you for taking part in this year’s Benefit Brew each finalist will receive a $500 donation. Please check them out below and consider lending your support.
