For our latest seasonal release, Phillips is offering Hudson Light, a crisp and clean kolsch, ideal for refreshing yourself after a hard day's ride. In the July 16 issue of the Province, said paper's Wine Guy James Nevison takes a break from the grapes and "riffs down the IPA aisle" stacking Phillips Amnesiac against Granville Island and Central City's IPAs. Here's what Nevison has to say. . .

Fruity beer fans and fans of fruity beers rejoice! The Raspberry Wheat Ale is back for a limited summer run. It's available now in most cold beer and wine stores. Refreshing and sweet for any summer afternoon or evening, the Ras won't last too long, as fans have been chomping at the berry to get their hands on a few bottles, so grab 'em while you can.
