Life at Phillips Brewing Company is often a circus, but for one afternoon only, we’re upping the freakshow quotient for the carnivaltastic launch of our new Showcase. This is your chance to step right up and marvel at the Phillips freaks pouring a few tasters of the delicious brews contained within the Showcase. But that’s not all, folks. Expect music, games, food and a whole lot more freaky fun. To make the Showcase Sideshow even more fantastic, we’re encouraging guests to dress up in their finest carnival/circus/freakshow outfit; prizes will be doled out for best costumes.

The new Phillips Showcase includes three Blue Buck Ale rutting in with three Phoenix Gold Lager and three Slipstream Cream Ale. But the Showcase will not only feature flavourful feats from that creamy, blue and gold trio, but also a rotating fourth, starting out with the hearty and proud Wheatking Hefeweizen, just in time for summer sipping. As the year progresses, this fourth boxmate might be another Phillips favourite such as the Original IPA or the devious Dirty Squirrel or it may be something exclusive to the Showcase.

But the Showcase is more than just a dozen tasty tall ones; just like Cracker Jacks, every Showcase will contain a little something extra for you, a download code to access new tracks from a top-notch BC musical act. The first Showcase batch soars into stores with a few cuts from space popsters Jets Overhead’s latest album, No Nations.

The Phillips Showcase will soon be available at finer beer and wine stores. And berry beer fans should keep their eyes peeled, as the legendary Raspberry Wheat Ale will soon follow.
