One has to wonder how all the fish at the Vancouver Aquarium feel about their makeshift home playing host to a seafood chowder competition? Our finned friends can take solace in the fact the event is all in the name of ocean conservation and education. On November 25, the Ocean Wise Seafood Chowder ChowDown will feature 10 top chefs showing their chowder best to a panel of judges. The event also features five BC craft brewers pairing their beers with chowders for the evening; Phillips is happy to be one of five chosen for the event. The ChowDown is open to the public and you chowderheads can vote for the People’s Choice Award in the competition.
