Phillips Brewing Company is once again kicking off December in high style with not one, but two seasonal brews to help take the edge off after battling shopping malls or fending off drunken co-workers at your staff Christmas party.

    To get things started right, you can count on the infamous Instigator. This colossal doppelbock is named for the beloved bottling machine that got the Phillips Brewing Company up and running. The dark lager is ready to take on all who dare challenge this stubborn goat. 

   After locking horns with the Instigator, it's time to set sail with the Deadhead Barley Wine. This malty auburn brew weighs in at 10 percent alcohol, is best served at 8 degrees C and will certainly warm your cheeks .

   Both the Instigator and Deadhead are available for a limited time at cold beer and wine stores, as well as here at the brewery.
