Do you ever wonder what Shawn O’Keefe does in his spare time when he isn’t busy designing those lovely Phillips beer labels? Now you can see another side of Shawn’s art with his AS IT IS exhibit, which is up now through the month of November at the Phillips gallery. The opening reception was quite the shaker and a number of pieces were sold, so if you want to take home a piece of O’Keefe’s work, you might want to get down here sooner than later.

And while we’re on the subject of art made by members of the extended Phillips family, next week at the Fort Cafe, Chris Dobell will be showing his work alongside his pal, Morgan Macaulay. You’ll likely recognize Dobell’s work from many a Phillips sign or from a recent article in SignCraft magazine, which highlights the work of Chris and his brother Stu. The exhibit opens Thursday, Nov. 12 at 6:30pm at 742 Fort.
